|Rescue Me ID: 14-01-07-00450Homer (male)|
Homer was found running down a local highway. He was thin & on a mission, probably trying to go back to the home where he was no longer wanted. Their loss. Homer (must be his real name, because he responds when he is called that)is very mellow for his apparent age. He's very smart for a hound type, due most likely to Doxie genes. He'd make an excellent companion for children or a retired couple. He's crated trained, responds well to treats & kindness, & is ok on a leash. He's been wormed & will be vaccinated & micro-chipped before being released to an approved adopter. Email for application. Adopted within 50 mi. only.

|Rescue Me ID: 13-10-08-00361Maggie (female)|
Maggie was surrendered with her sister and brother because they couldn't be caught or touched after the tornado, and the family had their hands full already with 3 older dogs. Her brother and sister have already found their fur-ever homes, and poor Mags is still waiting patiently. Maggie loves children, is a-ok with other dogs and cats and is very playful and friendly. She is a tornado survivor, and though still a bit timid in a storm, has adjusted well (she'd love a cuddle buddy during a storm)!
