Cash is a very sweet dog. He turns 10 years old next weekend and has been our family pet his entire life. We are moving from the country into the city, and it just wouldn't be fair to him to be stuck in a backyard. It would be a prison for him. He has had full access to our 55 acre farm his entire life. He's older now and has become a little lazier than in his youth. He's a great watch dog in that he barks if anyone pulls onto the property. He greets you at your car door with his tail wagging looking for a hug. Cash is the biggest sweetheart. He was raised with our kids (who have now gone off to college), cats, and other dogs. We have always had two to three dogs at a time, and Cash has always received them into the family immediately. The only animals Cash cannot be around are chickens or other fowl. He really enjoys the chase and will end up hurting or killing them. Well, and of course raccoons, or other such little fur balls like that. We have cattle and the neighbor has sheep, Cash doesn't chase either one and barely notices their existence. There are coyotes in our area which Cash keeps away from our house. When they start their nightly howling, Cash will bark and run to the edge of the property in their direction. Though we can here them, we don't ever see them on our property. That is definitely attributed to Cash. He's a beautiful, healthy dog. We'd be happy to get any paperwork requested from our vet stating his health condition. We can also send more pictures upon request. (Less)

Dixie is a sweet girl. She has been great with our other dogs her size and three year old. She is a hunting dog but not trained. So she is not that great with cats or small dogs. She is very active and loves to run. Unfortunately we do not have the proper space for her to run. She jumps our fence and runs the neighborhood. But if she had a nice size of land I believe she will be great. We are trying to move right now and this is one of the big reasons for finding her a new home. We love her and just want what is best for her. We also have one of her puppies that she had 5 years ago named Reba that is also on this page. It would be nice to keep them together. (Less)

|Rescue Me ID: 15-11-14-00283Eddie (male)|
Eddie is a healthy, active 3-year-old Red Bone Hound that my son rescued as a puppy when he found him wandering in a cemetery. Our vet believes him to be purebred but, of course, can't be sure. He has a had a happy life until recently when my son changed jobs and moved into a very restricted space, resulting in two unhappy dogs that can no longer co-exist. Eddie needs loving attention and space to run. He has spent his life mainly among adults and has had limited contact with children. He has shown no indications of problems with children.
