Red is a very sweet boy. We live in the middle of 25 acres and he is allowed to run once a day with supervision. He has a big fenced in back yard and lots of toys. His favorite thing is a playmate (another dog). I think if he had another playmate all the time he would not need to run as much. He is a fast and strong. He is also very strong headed. Redbone has become more adaptable to indoor living with a family but Red has never been allowed inside. He has a very nice converted chicken coop for a dog house and he likes it. He goes to bed at dark and sleeps til around 8:30 in the morning with no barking after dark.

Margo is looking for a forever home. She is almost 5 years old, house and kennel trained, and behaves on leash. Margo is a sweet and good natured dog, but she has too much energy to interact with other dogs. She needs to be an ONLY dog. She plays too rough with dogs, and likes to fight. We have had her professionally trained to help her co-exist with our other dogs, but this has not corrected her behavior. She is submissive and non-aggressive to people. She is shy and takes time to warm up to men. Once she is comfortable and knows she can trust you she is outgoing. Margo is a favorite at home, but our other rescue dogs are in danger with her ... (Read More)unpredictable behavior. We have tried to keep her for nearly three years. We are worried that taking her back to the shelter would not only put her in danger, but also other animals. We are asking for a 25$ donation to so that we know she is going to someone that can afford to take care of her. We will not ship Margo, we can arrange to meet locally. (Less)
