Rescue Me ID: 17-03-31-00255Benji (male)

Redbone Coonhound Mix    Age: Puppy

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: Very High Energy, Submissive
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Benji was dumped in Ardmore, OK as a puppy in September, 2016. He was soaking wet and covered in fleas when I found him running through the streets. I called him over and he ran right up to me with his tail wagging! I had him vet checked, vaccinated, neutered and tested for heart worm (test was negative). He looked just like a Basset (body-wise) with a Redbone Coonhound face, but he has grown since. He's a medium-sized dog now (as seen in photo). Benji is most likely about 10 months old. He is VERY strong and has a LOT of energy. There isn't a mean bone in his body, and he is OBSESSED (in a good way!) with other dogs and kids. I tried to ... (Read More)adopt him out to a family with no other dogs originally, and he was returned to me after several months because he had too much energy to be in a single-dog home. He is just the perfect playmate for dogs and kids, so I'm looking for a home where he will have at least one other playful dog to run around with. He is desperate for a forever home, and he deserves the best. Please contact me if you're interested! (Less)
