This is a courtesy post. Please contact Lauren at (919) 475-6395. Mazzy is a 6 and a half years old bloodhound/coonhound mix. She was rescued at around 10 weeks from a gassing shelter in West Virginia and has lived with her family since then. Mazzy is a happy, social dog, who enjoys an active lifestyle. She was thriving with her family before they had babies and began a new academic program. She is missing the activity she once enjoyed and would be fantastic in a family who walks, runs, bikes, etc. She is great with other dogs, having grown up with a pit bull and other various foster animals. She is gentle with cats, even if a ... (Read More)little playful upon first meeting. Mazzy loves 'her' babies in her current home and is very gentle with the toddler and infant. She has basic training and commands and is housetrained. No chewing or true behavioral issues. Up to date on shots as well. We love Mazzy and are very sad about thinking of her in another home. However, our lives are stretched to capacity with kids and school. She is not a dog who is content just laying around the house and her restlessness makes us sad as well. We would love to see her in a home where she is active again and enjoying snuggles and games with a family who can accommodate her needs better.
