Truthfully we have no idea whether Sally is a redbone coonhound mix. We were just told that she was a hound mix, and a redbone was the hound she looked most like. She is one year old, has all her shots, is microchipped, and we can spay. Sally has a sweet nature and is eager to please. She would make an excellent companion or family pet.

Halo was rescued from an abusive home by a group of good Samaritans who had witnessed on-going abuse but saw no intervention by authority despite reports. Halo was severely emaciated, chained outside with no shelter, food or water, and feeding small puppies. Most of her puppies were killed by her owner, which is why her rescue was urgent. She had a uterine infection due to overbreeding but has since been treated. She desperately needs heartworm treatment but the foster does not have funds. Halo had to be vaccinated, get spayed, have blood work done and get treated for her infection, the cost of which came from the foster's personal money ... (Read More)after funds raised ran out. The foster has many rescue pets of her own with medical conditions and is desperately trying to find a loving family for this girl who can get her the treatment she needs. She would be a wonderful dog for children! (Less)
